Carmi as a competitor: highlights of a life with horses

Three-day eventer in 1970s and 1980s, eventing through Preliminary on “Anticipation”, “The Artesian”, and “Win Cat”.  Member of the UC Davis Eventing Team. Also regular participant in horse shows (hunters, jumpers, equitation) as a child.

Hunter/Jumper competitor in California in the 1980s, and in Colorado in the 1990s, primarily showing in the jumpers up to 4’, on the local circuit in California, and CHJA in Colorado.

Dressage competitor at recognized CDS/USDF shows since 2006 on these horses:

Simsalabim, Westfalen (1st and 2nd Level)

Amadeus, Morgan (to 1st Level)

Bijou, KWPN (Intro and Training Level)
