Services

Carmi offers in-person lessons in the greater East Bay Area, or via multi-day clinics all over the US. In addition, she offers real-time video instruction. While she does have weekly students, it’s her preference to teach in a clinic session. Most riders will learn new skills by taking three lessons in a short timeframe. In this workshop format, you will learn quickly, and the knowledge is likely to stay with you.

Your individual workshop begins with a goal-setting and orientation discussion, followed by three private mounted sessions of 45 minutes each, either in person or over video.

If this feels like a big commitment, you’re welcome to choose an affordable 30-minute introductory session to see if this work is for you.

After completing your three-session workshop, you will be eligible to sign up for individual refresher sessions with Carmi.

Technical Requirements for Video Lessons

In order to access an online training session, you will need the following:

  • Video tracking device made for equine use (PIVO, Pixem, etc). If you don’t have a tracking device but can get a person to video your session, that’s acceptable.

  • Two-way communications device, so that you can hear the instruction and communicate with Carmi.

  • Good WiFi connection (ideal), or strong cellular connection sufficient to transmit clear video

Starter Workshop - $350

One goal-setting conversation, and three 45-minute private video lessons, each with a follow-up email with specific recommendations for you.

Single Lessons

Introductory: Not sure if this work is for you? Take a 30-minute introductory session, and then decide! $60 intro rate.

30-Min Refresher: Once you’ve completed a workshop, you may sign up for refresher sessions as-needed. Looking to refresh a concept? Or remember a key piece of the work? A 30-minute session might be all you need. $85.

45-Min Skills Update: Also for returning students, the 45-minute lesson is the one to choose if you’re seeking to deeply practice the existing work, or to expand your skills. $110.

30-minute lesson package: 5 for $375 ($75 each)

45-minute lesson package: 5 for $475 ($95 each)
